Obituary of Doris Eilene McCarthy

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the passing of Doris Eilene (McLeod) McCarthy in her 94th year on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016. Doris is now reunited with her late husband, Len J. McCarthy (1991). Celebrating her longevity, yet missing her happy, loving presence are; her son Kevin and Luanne McCarthy, daughter Kathy and Ken Yeo and their children and grandchildren; Michael and Karen Yeo - Emerson and Kenley; Karry and Peter Tischler - Quinn and Kody; Christopher and Shelby Yeo - Alana and Vivian; Jason and Alison Yeo - Britton, Tyler and Nathan. Sister to Wilma Jean Robinson, Donald McLeod and predeceased by Mildred Small, Merton, Carman and Murray McLeod and sister-in-law to Geraldine and Helen McLeod. Daughter of the late Mary and William McLeod of Kincardine. Doris loved to dance all her life, from the Highland Fling as a young girl to twirling around the dance floor on any occasion. Len and Doris are dancing on the clouds together now. Her family was Doris’ life focus. Family came first - always. Honouring Doris' wishes, a private family service will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel. Donations in Doris' memory to the McCormick Home would be greatly appreciated.
