Obituary of Ron Painting

Passed peacefully at the McCormick Home on Friday, July 15th, 2016, in his 91st year. Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret for 70 years. Cherished father of Laurie Farrants (Dan Greenall) and Neil Painting (Barb Sararas). Loving Grandpa to Andrew (Sarah), Jason and Zachary and great-grandpa to Mason. Predeceased by his sisters Vera Jarvis (Charles) and Gloria McCutcheon. Fondly loved and remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ron was a life-time employee at the London Transit Commission and, upon his retirement, enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, July 22nd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior.
