Obituary of Jean Asiouras

Passed away in his sleep very peacefully on Sunday, May 1st, 2016 at University Hospital, London, in his 92nd year. Jean was born in Zevgolatio, Greece, on February 27th, 1925. Survived by brothers Mike (Dina) of London, and Nika (Antonia) in Greece. Predeceased by brother George and sister Katerina. Jean will be missed by many nieces, nephews, seven great-nephews and also by many cousins in Greece and the U.S.A. Jean, along with his brother Michael, owned and operated a Greek grocery store in London for 40 years. The family wish to thank the doctors and staff at University Hospital for their excellent care, as well as the staff of Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care for caring for John for the last year of his life. The funeral service will be celebrated at HOLY TRINITY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 131 Southdale Road West, London, on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
