Obituary of Harry Josten

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Friday, April 15th, 2016, in his 84th year. Beloved husband for 57 years of Ina. Loving father of Josie Josten and Wilma (Dan) Clarke. Proud Opa of Andrea (Jarret) Peterson, Matthew Clarke (Sarah Walker) and Stephanie Clarke. Dear brother of Dina Vandenbrandt, Ben Josten, Riet (Dre) Hoefnagel and Piet (Corrie) Josten. Predeceased by four brothers and one sister. An avid sports enthusiast, Harry followed his grandchildren to many arenas, gyms and soccer fields. He cheered on the London Knights, especially during the four years that his grandson played for the team. The family extend special thanks to all the staff of the CCTC, CCU and 5C at Victoria Hospital for their kindness and support. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. JOHN THE DIVINE PARISH, 390 Base Line Road West, London on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Harry are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or The Kidney Foundation.
