Obituary of Catherine Engelina (nee Willems) Aarts

Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospice after a hard fought battle with cancer on April 14th, 2016 in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Paul Aarts. Loving mother of Dan (Maggie) Aarts, Yvonne (Kevin) Weld and Richard (Cheryl) Aarts. Cherished Oma of Brennan and Emily Weld, Regan, Nathan and Morgan Aarts. Dear sister of Joanne (Bill) Van Rooy, Maria (John) Reyers, Maryke (Les) Everest, John (Nelly) Willems, Harry (Carol) Willems, Bob Willems, and Barb (Pat) Pepping. Sadly missed also by her in-laws, extended family and many friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Roman Catholic Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London, on Monday, April 18th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Catherine are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice.
