At Highview Residences on Sunday, March 27th, 2016, with family at her side, Mrs. Dorothy Eastman-Whatmore, of London, in her 96th year. Wife of the late Frank Whatmore and the late Bill Eastman. Loving mother of David Whatmore (Jeanette), of Oakville, Michael Whatmore (Sandy), of Redwood City, CA, Paul Whatmore (Mary Ann), of Stoney Creek, Philip Whatmore (Fran Brown), of London, and Peter Whatmore (Beth), also of London. Loving step-mother of Jane Eastman. Dear sister of Vi Mullin, of Simcoe. Proud Grandma of Sonja (Scott) Savage, Suzanne (David) Harper, Scott Whatmore (Jeanne), Debbie (Carl) Morton, Lara (James) Hagerty, Jess (Harmen) Jazey-Spoelstra, Damon Whatmore, Michelle (Mike) Intzandt, Jenne Devries, Blair Whatmore, and Brooke Whatmore. Adoring great grandmother of Liam and Michael Harper, Olivia Savage, Bradley (Stella) Whatmore, Brigus and Lucy Hagerty, Lake and Graye Spoelstra, and Brittany and Zachary Intzandt. Great-great grandmother to Izabelle Whatmore. Special grandma to Christine and Pat Camilleri, Joe Wybraniak, Daniel and Lucas Camilleri, Greg Corvi and Suzie, Samantha Jack and Suzie, Matt Corvi, Jeff Bridget Corvi, Samuel and Benjamin Corvi, Natalie Mortan and Georgina, Holly Morton and Ron, Jane and Ellie, Steven Mortan and Cathryn, and Joe Morton and Kim, Hayze and Vincent. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at ST. MICHAEL & ALL ANGELS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 397 Springbank Drive, London, on Monday, May 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with The Venerable Sam Thomas officiating. Private family interment of ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Dorothy’s family wish to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Highview Residences and particularly Ann Gibson for her compassionate care in Mom’s final hours.
