Obituary of Norma Jean Roman (née Cunningham)

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Friday, February 19th, 2016, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Andy Roman. Dear mother of Mark (Sheralyn) and Steven (Felicia). Loved by her grandchildren Matthew, Zachary, Jenna and Olivia, and by her niece Indra Stogdill. Survived by her brother and sister-in-law John and Rochelle Cunningham. Norma will be sadly missed by many friends. Predeceased by her brothers Bruce and Robert. Norma was active in Bramalea Little Theatre, enjoyed knitting, sewing and anything to do with the performing arts. She loved to travel. In retirement, Norma moved to London where she enjoyed cards, book club and was an active member of Riverside United Church. She was very proud of her two boys, their wives and her four grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly. A memorial service will be conducted at RIVERSIDE UNITED CHURCH, 695 Riverside Drive, London, on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. A memorial visitation will be conducted at GRACE UNITED CHURCH, 156 Main Street North, Brampton, on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Norma are asked to consider Riverside United Church.
