Obituary of Charles Robert Wright

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, in his 91st year. Cherished husband of Sheila Cameron, and the late Dorothy Wright. Beloved father of Graham (Pennie) and David. Proud Grandad of Reuben. He will be sadly missed by his extended family, Sheila’s family and many friends. Charles was a dedicated officer with the London Police Service for 32 years. He was the founder of the Canadian International Police Association, and co-founder of the American International Police Association. After his retirement, Charles worked in the London Courts, and later became an ordained Anglican Minister and Padre of 427 (London) Wing. He was a member of the Lambeth Legion, and a Freemason with Centennial Lodge, and Moffat Lodge. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m., with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m. under the auspices of the Centennial Lodge #684 and Moffat Lodge #399 at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
