Remembering all the good and fun times that you have shared with me when I first started as an undergraduate student in London, Canada in the early 90s. Also, remembering all the life lessons you have taught me. The way you run your business is second to none - always energetic, lively and fun - you practically lifted everyone around you. Josephine and Family, I was saddened over your loss of Fast Eddie. He was so much fun during our 'Petrosar' days. You guys invited us to the closed door Golden Palace opening and the start of your entrepreneurial lives. It was awesome. Eddie was so cool. I saw him many times over the years at Cheryl Ann's in Grand Bend. He carried himself like he was the mayor of the Bend. He is a great memory in my life.

So deeply sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. He gave my kids (Bram and Hilda) their first jobs and he was so good to them. We remember him so fondly. I still saw him many times every summer and he always asked after the kids. My deepest condolences to his family

So sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. My mom and dad had just talked about the last time they were in Grand Bend and how Eddie made a point of sitting down with them and visiting with them outside the Cheryl Ann. It always amazed me how he would recognize, my parents, my brothers and sisters, and me every time we were in Grand Bend even though most of us had not worked for him in nearly 20 years. Visiting Grand Bend will not be the same without him. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Josephine, Sharon and Eric, So very sorry for your loss! Eddie was a truly wonderful and kind man and will be missed greatly. I enjoyed working for him at the cheryl ann, dicks and Missy's for many years and was always truly amazed by his kindness in the years after when he would always give my kids free ice cream and remember everything about me and my family. He made the world a better place. Thinking of you all in this sad time!

I first met Fast Eddie when I was a little kid, walking with my dad one summer night in Grand Bend. Fast Eddie gave me an ice cream cone, and he and my dad talked about how important being a father is and making sure the kids of the next generation are better off than the parents that raised them....and hoping they grow up to raise kids that are even better than themselves. That was the first time I understood something like that - the selflessness, purpose, and ambition of a parent. For the rest of my childhood, I grew up on Fast Eddie's ice cream, and as an adult, he still gave me ice cream, along with the encouragement to keep working hard in school, following my dreams, and making my dad (and him) proud. He was my friend and my mentor, and I'll always be thankful for the influence he had on my life. Rest in peace, Dear Fast Eddie. My sincere condolences to his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. You are his heart and soul, which lives on.

Even though it was only a couple of times, we were able to see how much he adores you, Norm and his grandchildren. We remember him as a friendly, vibrant man who also loves his technical toys. There are many jokes regarding in-law relations; but, in this case there is mutual respect and comradeship. He was a generous and loving man and he raised a wonderful addition to our family. Our deepest sympathies to your family and our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I met Eddie back in 1990 when I rented the Taco Shop in the back of the Cheryl Ann that one summer. That was the start of a relationship that I fondly looked forward to each summer, as my husband and I and then later on my children, would visit Eddie on the strip almost annually. We would discuss our plans and business dreams and he was always so kind and cheerful with my children offering them ice cream and the memories of being able to make it themselves inside Missy's. We were all saddened to hear the news and our visits to Grand Bend will never be the same. Thank you Eddie for giving me the entrepreneurial spirit and the inspiration to try and follow some of those dreams! Your father always talked about his family and he was very proud of all,of you! May you celebrate his life as he has touched many of our lives in a positive and lasting way! Thank you, Eddie.
