Obituary of Giuseppe 'Joseph' Currado

Peacefully at his home, with his family by his side, Joseph Currado, on Saturday, September 5th, 2015, four days past his 85th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Maria Carmela (née Trovato, 2011). Devoted and loving father of Mary and Jim Romphf and Elizabeth Currado. Cherished Nonno of Josh (Lori), Logan (Erin), Jessica (Abdul) and Julia. Dear brother of Sebastiano and Maria Currado, Bruno and Anna Currado (Italy) and the late Elisabetta Currado (Giovannangelo). Survived by his sisters-in-law Vincenza Terranova, Rosina and Maria Trovato. Dear brother-in-law of Antonio Terranova, Vittoria Mazza (Raffaele) and Giuseppe (Giovanna), Vito, Giovanni (Antonietta), Domenico Trovato, all predeceased. Remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Our deepest gratitude to Dr. Da Silva for his dedication and devotion. Sincere thanks to the PSWs for their ongoing compassionate and attentive care, Cindy from CCAC for her consistent support and Andrew of Canadian Apothecary for his constant guidance and assistance. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 8:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at St. Peter’s Mausoleum. If desired, memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
