Obituary of Bruce Denstedt

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his life Marion, for 62 years, and his family at Henley Place on Friday, September 4, 2015, 12 days before his 90th birthday. Bruce was a teacher for over 35 years, and an avid traveler. Proud and loving dad of Susan (Jeff) Schmidt, Greg (Kris) Denstedt and Mark Denstedt, all of London. Devoted Papa of Kevin, Lindsay, Jenna (Justin), Andrew, Angela (David) and Sarah. Dear brother of Jean Toman and brother-in-law of Helen Keene. Survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Helen, and brothers-in-law Eldon, Earl and Clyde. The family wishes to express their sincere thank you to the administration and staff of Henley Place, especially in Fanshawe Park Neighbourhood, for all the love and care they provided Bruce during his stay. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m., and Rev. Canon Dr. Timothy G. Connor officiating the service. Private family interment of cremated remains at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bruce may be made to the Alzheimer Outreach Services (Day Program) of McCormick Home, St. George’s Anglican Church – Accessible Faith or to a charity of your choice.
