Obituary of Jean Marie Beavers (née Kernohan)

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice - London on Saturday, July 18th, 2015, at the age of 89. Jean had a patient way and a thoughtful presence. She will be fondly remembered for her keen mind, quick wit, generous soul and kind heart. Beloved wife of the late Leland Beavers (2008) for 60 years. Loving mother of Glenn and Jane, Janet and Doug Dynes, Paul and Jintana, and Suzanne and Blaine Kueneman. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Meghan Beavers Neville, Joshua Beavers, Matthew and Tanja Kueneman and Brittany Kueneman (Brad Jones). Proud great-grandmother of Connor and Ryan Neville and Beckett Kueneman. Survived by her sister-in-law Doreen Kernohan as well as her extended family. Jean was raised by her parents, the late Wesley and Verna Kernohan, in the Grove community of London along with her brothers, the late Donald and Fred. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 23rd, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Marys Cemetery, 150 Cain Street, N4X 1B7.
