Obituary of Ward Burchell Young

YOUNG, Ward Burchell – Peacefully surrounded by family at McCormick Home on Thursday, May 21, 2015, Mr. Ward Burchell Young of London, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Jill Louise Young (née McLennan) for 52 years. Forever missed by his children Robin Smith of Toronto, Darren Young of Ottawa and Shannon Pierson (Stewart) of Boston, and by his grandchildren Jasmine, Jade, Miguel, Christophe, Thomas, Aspen, Ward Gray, Summer and Cole. Sadly missed by his brother Edwin “Dude” Young of Liverpool, Nova Scotia, loving sister Joan Prevost of Montréal and sister June Elwin of Dominica. Also missed by his cherished mother-in-law Inez King of London, and his kind and caring friend Dean Dimla. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with the memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
