Obituary of Joaquim Prudencio Vilaca

Peacefully, at home, with the love of his life at his side on Friday, May 15, 2015, in his 86th year. Beloved husband for 60 years of Maria Helena. Loving father to Zaida (Jim) Suraci and Julie Vilaca. Proud Vovo to Gregory Suraci (Alyss Fougere) and Julia (Michael) Hager. Dear brother to Conceicao. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Portugal and South Africa. Predeceased by siblings Antonio, Domingos, Jossefina and Maria. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joaquim are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
