Obituary of Capt. Roy Edward CD, RCAF King

Peacefully at his residence with his wife of 70 years, Frances by his side on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in his 92nd year. Loving father of Adrienne Almey (Kerrigan), Mark King (Mandy) and Rae McKenna (Gerry). Cherished grandpa of Jeremy Almey, Quinn Joy Hix, Taylor King, and Mary Kate, Maureen and Patrick McKenna, and great-grandpa of Aya Holly Hix. Dear brother of Joan Blakley (Don) and John King (Lorna). Predeceased by grandson Michael Almey. After retirement from the RCAF, Roy became a secondary school teacher in London. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Cremation and private inurnment of ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Veteran’s section. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
