Obituary of Dorothy Patricia Treitz (née Munday)

TREITZ, Dorothy Patricia (née Munday) – Loved and respected throughout her life for her strength and determination, Dorothy passed peacefully at McGarrell Place on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the age of 90. Dorothy was the beloved and cherished wife of Donald Edward Treitz. She was a much loved mother of Linda McFall (Bill) and Sandra Lipskey (Ed). Proud Grandma of Matthew Lipskey (Chelsea) and Brent Lipskey (Eva), and Great-Grandma of Jake and Marshall Lipskey, and Emmett, Hayden, Merek and Jillian Lipskey. Dorothy leaves behind her sister Gwen Haven and her brothers Richard Munday (Margie) and Bill Munday (Chyleen). Predeceased by her parents Richard Alfred Munday and Ethel Fanny. Dorothy’s perseverance, integrity, and strength were hallmarks of her life. Dorothy’s family is grateful to the compassionate staff of McGarrell Place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
