Obituary of Eleanor Louise Hansen

Peacefully at Arbor Trace Alzheimer Special Care Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in her 74th year. Wife of Kent Graham Hansen and mother of Todd Jacob DenHartogh of Windsor, Heidi Lynn Noble of St. Thomas and Trevor Howard DenHartogh of Hamilton. Eleanor loved all though especially her grandchildren: Shawn Den Hartogh, Sara Palmer, Rachel DenHartogh, Jeremy Denhartogh, Brent Noble, Ashly Fairbanks, Jacob DenHartogh and Bergen DenHartogh, and great-grandchildren Evan, Parker and Landen. Born and raised in Windsor where her brothers Clifford (Skip) Stanley Dupuis and Rodd John Dupuis still reside. Even with numerous physical challenges her concern was always for others, living her life at 100 mph. Those touched by Eleanor are invited to share remembrances at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the formal funeral celebration service begins at 1:00 p.m. Interment follows at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and in Eleanor’s memory: turn an acquaintance into a friend; take a hurting companion to lunch; read your bible daily; give away what you love; bless all with your compassion, spirit and kindness; parachute; bake wedding cakes; host a dinner party for 16; improve oak, mahogany and maple by painting gloss white; do that which makes you unique and unforgettable.
