Obituary of Orville Wesley Schroeder

On Sunday, December 14, 2014, after a long and full life, Orville passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved husband of the late Irene (McKenzie) Schroeder (2000). Caring father of Stuart Schroeder and Nancy (Brian) Vaile. Predeceased by his daughter Diane Marie. Also loved by his grandchildren Matthew and Lauren. Dear brother of Jim, Uel, May and Glen. Predeceased by brothers Gerald, Leroy, Earl, Reg and Harry. Orv was proud of his 33 year career with the London Police Services. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Orv are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
