Obituary of John Collins Dobbie

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on Sunday, September 7, 2014 in his 73rd year. Loving husband, best friend and soulmate of Patricia. Cherished father of Tracy (Daniel) Nadon and Linda (Andrew) Leigh. Beloved Grandad of Zachary, Taylor, Sophie and Grace. Survived by his brother Andrew Dobbie and many nieces, nephews and extended family, both in Canada and England. John was predeceased by his parents, John and May Dobbie. Thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for the dignity and care shown to John; the nurses at Victoria Hospital, D5-Unit 100; as well as the doctors at the London Regional Cancer Program. A private family memorial service will be held. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice of London.
