Obituary of Larry Russell Robinson

Surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at the age of 73. Will be deeply missed by his cherished wife and best friend Irene. Loving father of Todd and Nancy, Tracy and Nico, Charlene and Chris, and Matthew. Proud and loving Grandpa of Jared, Rachel, Lauren, Brienna, Alexis and Erica. Brother of Wayne, Peter (Nonie), and Pamela (Harold). Brother-in-law of Mary and Billy Love, Lawrence Ambrose, Mike and Sherry Ambrose and the late Joe Ambrose. Larry will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Larry retired from the London Police Department after 32 years of service, and having spearheaded bringing the “Crime Stoppers” program to London. After retiring from the force, Larry turned his love of real estate into a second career. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, August 29th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Larry are asked to consider the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario.
