Obituary of Jeanette Marie Mercier (née Parton)

With the love of her family and after a courageous battle with cancer, Jeanette passed away on June 27, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, Ontario. Loving mother of Christopher (Pascale) and Andrew. Beloved Gramma to Shelby and Madison. Dear sister to Elizabeth, Judy (Pete), Ken (José), Brian and Joni (Doug). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Alan and Stella Parton and niece Cheryl Anne Reid. Jeanette lived her life for her boys and could be found at any hockey arena or baseball diamond cheering them on, and for her two granddaughters. A special “Thank You” to St. Joseph’s Hospice: you gave Jeanette back her life for a few more months, and each of you held a special place in her heart! To date, Jeanette was the longest term resident at the Hospice. Also a very big thank you to Dawna for everything that you did. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Tuesday from 1:00 – 3:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the J. SCOTT EARLY FUNERAL HOME, 21 James Street, Milton on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice of London would be greatly appreciated.
