Obituary of Gordon McDowell

Gord passed away suddenly while playing golf on Friday morning. Beloved husband of Lillian. Loving father of Cindy (Rick Bunt), Carol (Jim Gerster) and Stephen (Heather). Loved grandpa of Samantha, Amy, Owen, Mason, Gavin, Ted (Kirsten), Brigitte (Bob) and Lindsay (Dan) and great-grandpa of Gordon and Elodie. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Verda McDowell and his brother Orville. Gord will also be missed by Maggie, his extended family and his friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Gord are asked to consider London Mission Services, Alzheimer Society of London-Middlesex or the LHSF - Prostate Cancer Research.
