Obituary of Veronica Provencher

The family of Veronica Provencher (nee MacPherson) of London and formerly of Sudbury, sadly announces her passing on Tuesday, April 15th, 2014 at the age of 79. Survived by Paul, her devoted husband of 57 years. Dear mother of Robert (Tina) Provencher of Sudbury, Paula (Bill) Adams of London, Rolande Provencher of London, Monique Provencher of London and Suzanne (Kirby) Provencher-Seward of Ottawa. Grandma will be missed and forever loved by Dominique, Frank, Jordan, Veronica, Alexandra, Danielle and Sam, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her infant son Gerard and granddaughter Shannen. Veronica was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, the daughter of the late Martina and James MacPherson. She was the beloved sister of Christina, Marina, Jean, Jim, Rona, Nona, Nena and Joey. Her family and Nova Scotia roots were always close to her heart. Veronica moved to Ontario as a young woman to work in the health care field. She met and married Paul in Blind River and became a dearly loved member of the Provencher family. She understood the importance of celebrating important moments together and never forgot a birthday or a special occasion. Veronica's rich laughter and sense of humour will be missed.
