Obituary of John Colin Penford

Of Wardsville, in his 74th year, passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Victoria Hospital. Predeceased by his father, John Robert, and mother, Rose Victoria (née Scoffin), and by nephew Robert Alan. Survived by brothers Norman, of Florida and Alan (Shirley), of London; sister Anita (Ewan Alexander), of Saskatoon; uncle Keith (Marg); nieces Lynne Crerar, Tara Mitchell (Dan), and Elizabeth Nelson; nephews John Cameron Penford, Neil Alexander and Colin Alexander; and seven grandnieces and grandnephews. Sadly missed by long-time friend Donna McFaul, of Ottawa. Many thanks to Dr. Garnett at Four Counties Health Services in Newbury, as well as Dr. Power and all the caring and supportive staff in the CCTC at LHSC. A service of remembrance and interment will be held at a later date. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
