Obituary of Irene Durnin

Peacefully at University Hospital, on Sunday, March 30, 2014 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Durnin (2005) for 64 years. Loving mother of Brian and Jean. Cherished Nanny Irene of Scott and Stephanie, Mark and Emily. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dear sister of the late Isabel Harris (2013) and the late Elmer Woods. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Dr. Kirk Hamilton, VON Team, CCAC, St. Elizabeth and Horizon Place (respite) for the excellent care and support given over the past 9 years allowing Irene to continue to live happily and independently in her own home. She was a long term member of Riverside United Church. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, April 6th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation two hours prior to the service.
