Obituary of Edward James Wansbrough

Passed peacefully in his 82nd year at University Hospital on Friday, March 28th, 2014, after a sudden illness and struggling with the challenges of Frontal Lobe Dementia and Arthritis. Cherished husband of Lurene for over 57 years. Proud dad of Doug (Sharon) and Susan (Tatiana). Loving grandpa of Derek (Sum) and Russell (Anne). Dear brother of Alan. Ted retired from Canadian Pacific Railway – Toronto after 38 years of service. Ted was a Worshipful Brother and Past Master of Mimico Lodge, Etobicoke, a member of Rameses Shrine, Toronto and the Cyrene Preceptory, Toronto. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and extended family. A celebration of Ted’s life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. A Masonic service will also be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 2nd at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ted are asked to consider the Alzheimer Outreach Services – McCormick Home Foundation (AOS). The family is grateful to McCormick Home, AOS and University Hospital for the loving care they provided Ted.
