Obituary of Irene Rempel

REMPEL, Irene (Braun) – With sadness and great hope, the family announces the passing of Irene Rempel of London, on Sunday, March 23rd, 2014 at Victoria Hospital, London. Beloved wife of David Rempel. Loving mother of Brenda Hodson (Bill) of St. Catharines, Ted Rempel (Linda), Edward Rempel (Sandra) all of London, and Leonard “Len” Rempel (Kathleen) of New Hamburg. Much loved Oma to Robin (Kevin), Jennifer (Kevin), Amanda (Rick), Rebecca, Bill, Jeff, Aaron, Erika, Lauren (Andrew), Colleen (Corey), Alex, David (Lacie), Sarah (Darryl), Matthew, Timothy, Kim, Emily and Greg, and great-grandmother of eleven. Dear sister of Hilda, Ann, Mary, Jack, Helen, John and Irmy. Predeceased by her sisters Agnes, Katie and Herta. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Valleyview Mennonite Church, 1170 Melsandra Ave., London, on Thursday, March 27th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
