Obituary of Norma Leah (nee James) Smith

Beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 at the age of 76. Born on December 15th, 1937 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. She graduated from Sir Adam Beck Secondary School. On December 5th, 1959 she married her life partner, William (Bill) Smith, and they settled in West London. She worked for the London Life Insurance Company for 37 years. Norma was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority (Chi Master Chapter), where she developed many lasting friendships, gathered regularly to learn new things and support various types of charitable organizations. Norma is survived by her husband Bill, two brothers Colin and Glenn and sisters-in-law Jackie and Beth. She was preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Edward James. Private family service will be held with interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
