Obituary of Norman George Milliken

Passed away Friday, February 21, 2014, in his 90th year, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his dearly loved wife Thelma in 2010. Father of Judith Cornell (Bill), and Alan Milliken (Connie). Beloved grandfather of Laura Sewers (Trevor) and Cheryl Evagelinos (Marios), and great grandfather to Makena and Landyn Evagelinos. Born in Stratford, August 6, 1924, Norm will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Sincere thanks to the staff and management of Chartwell Riverside Retirement Home, Dr. C. Moore, Dr. S. Ernst, Dr. N. Feagan, the doctors and nurses of the London Regional Cancer Program, and the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital, for their exceptional care. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Norman are encouraged to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre.
