Obituary of Edith May Askew

Peacefully at The Village of Glendale Crossing on Sunday, January 12th, 2014. Edith was born in Wallsend-on-Tyne, England. Beloved wife of the late Thomas (2012). Loving mother of Derek (Carol) Askew, of London, and Thomas (Wendy) Askew, of Oshawa. Dear grandmother of Stephen Askew (Jen Shaw), David (Kim) Askew, Dale (Karla) Askew, Michelle Askew, Rob (Jenny) Smith, Laura (John) La and Julie Smith (Adam Nelson). Great-grandmother of Ryan, Connor, Avery, Zack, Marissa, Dylan, Brea and Katlin, and great great-grandmother of Kalli. Predeceased by her sister Irene Angus and by her brother Robert Brayen. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, January 16th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
