Obituary of Kathy (Manser) Lambier

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 in her 66th year with her husband of 45 years by her side. Kathy is survived by her loving husband Bob; children Kyle, Josh and Jamie (Janet); cherished grandchildren Maelle and 2.0 (due to arrive next week). Kathy is predeceased by her brother Jim Manser and her beloved parents Syl and Rita Manser. Kathy enjoyed a distinguished teaching career that spanned 31 years culminating with her retirement at Jack Chambers Public School in London. Lifelong joys for Kathy included her beloved Cairn Terriers, any and all creative and theatrical events and endeavors, her backyard and swimming pool, sitting in front of a roaring fire with a fine glass of wine, and above all, her family. No one knew how to celebrate each and every holiday like Kathy – Christmas and Halloween being her particular specialties. Kathy lived to celebrate, entertain and revel in her family’s successes and accomplishments. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the celebration of Kathy’s life being conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, January 12th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Kathy would be greatly appreciated to the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre.
