Obituary of George Stephen Rideout

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. George Stephen Rideout, of London, on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Sheila Rideout. Dear father of Craig Rideout and his wife Nora, of London, and Laura Rideout-Maguire, and her husband Tommy, of Dashwood. Loving Papa to Charlotte and Tegan. Brother of Archie Rideout, Doug Rideout, Alice and Fred Willcocks, Betty and Gil Violette, Clara and Lewis Lamont, Bill and Ruth Rideout, Ivan and Nancy Rideout, Harvey Rideout, Rev. Jasper and Debbie Rideout and Lonzo and Gwen Rideout. Brother-in-law of Dianna Rideout, Beverly and Jim Whitwell and Bryan and Sandra Stewart. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Allen Rideout (2012). Stephen worked for many years for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and for Delcan Corporation. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 6th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
