Obituary of Robert William Fraser
Robert William Fraser, in his 55th year, has passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at London Health Sciences Centre on December 13, 2013. Born December 10th, 1959, in Stratford Ontario, Bob was the youngest son of the late Jack “Rusty” and Edna Fraser. Bob leaves behind a loving family; Connie, Scott, Katie (Brian McCullough) and Shawn (Vicky Quinlan), who will always remember him as a man who took immense pride in his family. Bob will be dearly missed by his brother Tom (Suzanne) while joyously reunited with his eldest brother John, who undoubtedly helped usher him gracefully from this life (deceased 1982). He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Bob spent his career as a mortgage broker in London, and got his early start as the original “Repo Man” at Beneficial Finance. Bob’s life should not be measured in years alone, but rather in the memories he made with the people he loved. Bob lived a lot of life in his 55 years on this earth and he loved a lot of people. Those who knew him, knew he liked to live large. He liked big adventures and even bigger trucks. Winters spent on the snowmobile and summers spent on the water, Bob loved the outdoors and all the toys that made the open air even more enjoyable. His musical taste was completely stuck in the '60s and recognized a great Elvis song when he heard it. We will best remember Bob for his jovial personality, his unfailing sense of humour and his deep, hearty laugh. Bob took pride in the relationships he built with friends, both old and new, and will be comforted in knowing he will always be remembered as the Bob who could make you smile. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
We miss you already Big Guy!
