Obituary of Brian Christopher Noon
Tragically, due to an undetected heart condition, on November 26, 2013, in his 36th year. Deeply loved and missed by wife Lillian, parents Alan and Jennifer Noon, sister Valerie (Todd Charlebois), and brother Derek (Megan Findlay). Brian was also a wonderful uncle to Andrew, Sophie and Trevor, who will miss his incredible imagination and his mastery of all their electronic toys.
Born in London, Ontario on December 21, 1977, Brian showed uncommon sureness and poise even as a teenager, slipping from amateur film director, to skateboarder with a taste for classical music, to gifted artist. It was the latter skill that took hold during his young adult years, and he graduated with distinction from Sheridan College's lauded Classical Animation program in 2001. Brian achieved his childhood aspirations of a career in visual art with great success as an Art Director. During the past 12 years his outstanding talents earned him much respect within the video game industry, particularly in layout and environment design.
After 5 wonderful years together, Brian and Lillian married on October 26, 2013. Best friends and dedicated partners; they were such a well matched pair and brought great joy to each other. Whether building a home in London or travelling abroad, they cherished their time together and were rarely apart. Brian was always happiest when he could be with her.
Brian was considerate, kind and steadfastly loyal. Those close to him enjoyed his great sense of humour, fun and clever wit.
Admired for his care and creative attention to detail, Brian never wasted a moment fussing over the trivia of day-to-day life. His choices remind the rest of us to love and defend what is truly important in our lives, and to let go of the details that ultimately do not matter. For this, and for having 35 years to know and love this extraordinary husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, we will be forever thankful.
A reception to celebrate Brian's life will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL (709 Wonderland Road North, London). A private family service will precede the reception. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
