Obituary of Marvin Jacobs

Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Upton). Loving father of David (Jenny) of Toronto, Robert (Jan), all of Toronto, and Thomas (Michelle) of London. Dear step-father of Maraleigh Swanson (Leo) of Grand Bend. Will be missed by dear friend and companion, Helen Russell and her family. Beloved grandfather of Colton Jacobs, Christopher and Peter Skelton, and chosen grandchildren Cody, Scotty and Sarah. Brother to Jean Hawgood of Bracebridge and the late Nina, Ethel, Ruth and Donald. Uncle to Roger and Marilyn Deschamps and family, of Windsor, David and Jean Tibbs of Ottawa, John and Judy Buchan of Port Dalhousie, Wayne Jacobs (Jackie) of Burlington and Donald Jacobs of Newmarket. The memorial service will be conducted at Oakridge Presbyterian Church, 970 Oxford Street West, London, on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Sarnia.
