Obituary of Ruby Irene Stead (née Older)

Peacefully, at University Hospital, on Sunday, October 27th, 2013, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late John Stead (2004). Loved mother of Linda Hill and Rollie, Dennis Stead and Sandy, Gary Stead and Sandy and Carol Miller and Bill. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Older and Bob and Marlene Stead. Will be missed by grandchildren: Sarah Hill, Karyn Hill, Derek Stead and Sara, Lindsay Timmers and Nic, Jaclyn Pryde and Jay, Patrick Miller and Amy Newbigging, Robyn Miller and Kathryn Miller, and by great grandchildren: Jack, Colby, Owen and Elyse. Predeceased by brothers John, Murray (Ruth) and Leonard. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the memorial service being conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, October 31st, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Irene are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Parkinson Society.
