Tito Mike's Family: I first met Michael when I was 12 and he was a Groomsmen at the wedding of his sister Sheila to my brother John McGivney. I had quite the preteen crush on Mike. The next year, we were honoured to be Godparents to Johnn and Sheils's first son, Kevin Andrew McGivney. My crush continued until I had the chance to meet Marita and their children. After a few years, we did not see each other, but I remember Mike very fondly. Life changes happen and I know that Mike remarried. I am very saddened to hear of his death and want to offer my condolences to his extended , combined family. Sincerely, Evlyn McGivney, Austin Riley and family. To all the Hannons - We are sorry to hear of the passing of you dad, grandpa and husband. It was great to see Uncle Mike at Sheila's 70th birthday a year or so ago. The event was the wake of my 23 year old brother, Steven, whose only LOVE in life had previously been Laurie. Despite the lack of any direct relationship with either Mike or Marita, their positive energy was so strong that we were able to overcome our grief to relive Steven's personna and impact on others through laughter, tears and joy.
