Obituary of Angela Marie Arnsby

At the age of 46, died peacefully in her London home on Sunday, March 17th, 2013, in the presence of her family after a short illness with cancer. Angela’s inseparable best friend of 20 years, Tim Pountney, and sister Sarah Arnsby-Fairclough were with her in her home every day to care for and love her with the incredible support of her family. Angela truly was at peace and knew she was loved by all of those around her. Everybody should feel her love and appreciation for such a peaceful passing at home in her favourite place. Angela is the daughter of the late Barbara (Williams) Arnsby (1995) and Phil Arnsby and his wife Elaine. Beloved sister of Teresa (Doug) Arnsby Weaver, Sarah Arnsby-Fairclough, Brian Arnsby and sister-in-law of Kalon Fairclough. Step-sister of Megan (Ian) Whiteside and Cole Machon. Dear aunt of Elizabeth Birchall, Abigail Arnsby and Lachlan Fairclough. She will also be missed by aunts and uncles Jerry (Lois) Arnsby, Michael (Evelyn) Arnsby and Rose Marie (nee Williams) (Peter) Pistor as well as her many cousins, friends and her two Maltese dogs: Jack and Benny. Everyone associated with THE HEALTH NETWORK and KARMAYOGA love and miss you. Angela was known as a retired RMT, an 800 hour trained yoga teacher, stained glass/paint/pencil artist, pet activist, healing therapy practitioner, a former Miss London and professional model, a dreamer and visionary and the purest and most honest, caring friend that anyone could wish for. Her dreams and goals have made a positive difference in over 400 associates through her business. “Your dreams have all come true and you are safe at home now.” We all take comfort in knowing you’re happy and at peace. Angela would appreciate seeing everyone together for this last gathering. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 22nd, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Angela, your loss will forever change me and all of those around us. We spoke of this on a couple of occasions and I know Angela would be pleased if you would make a donation in memory of her love and appreciation of children to Fresh Start Maternity Supports, 118 Centre Street, St. Thomas N5R 2Z9.
